Congratulations to our Payroll Supervisor, Bethan Hopes, who after 3 years of study, has completed her Foundation Degree in Payroll Management, through the Chartered institute of Payroll Professionals. Well done Bethan on your achievement.
Long Service
Both Colleen Wright and Jeannie Williams share the title of “Longest Serving Employee”, both having completed 30 years of service. Colleen started with Griffiths Marshall in February 1990 following a career with Deloittes. At the same time Jeannie started working for Jeremy Williams & Co, which was later acquired by Griffiths Marshall. A big thank you to both ladies who have certainly seen a lot of changes over the years.
Welcome Back
Matt Grindle worked for us during the summer of 2018 at the end of his first year at Cardiff Uni where he is studying for a Finance and Accounting Degree. When Matt approached us to complete his professional placement here, we were delighted to welcome him back. Matt is currently working in our Lydney office as part of our Payroll and Bookkeeping team. He will also work in the Gloucester office on accounts, taxation and audit before returning to Uni in September for his final year.
New arrivals
Over the past few months we have welcomed Mark Tea, who has joined us as a Client Manager. With over 20 years' experience in the industry, Mark is working primarily in our Gloucester office providing Accounting and Taxation services to our clients.
Michael Johnson has also joined us as an apprentice and is studying for his AAT Level 3. Michael is currently working out of the Lydney office as part of our Payroll and Bookkeeping team.
Both have settled in really well at Griffiths Marshall and it is good to have them on board.

Just before Christmas, Partner Greg Lewis and his wife, celebrated the safe arrival of their beautiful baby boy, weighing in at 8lb 6oz. Many congratulations to you both.
