A team effort for the Trussell Trust foodbanks

We are all acutely aware of the cost of living crisis which we are experiencing at the moment, and this has resulted in more families than ever struggling to put food on the table.

We are all acutely aware of the cost of living crisis which we are experiencing at the moment, and this has resulted in more families than ever struggling to put food on the table. Although foodbanks have been around for several years, the number of individuals and families who are now depending on them simply to survive is at an all time high.

The teams at Griffiths Marshall and Paish Tooth felt very keen to support this important issue, especially with the festive season upon us. We decided to collect items for the foodbanks based in Gloucester, Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean, all of which are part of the Trussell Trust.

We set up collection points in all three of our offices in Gloucester, Cheltenham and Lydney, and between the three locations we managed to gather approximately 320 items of food and toiletries. We have distributed these to our relevant local foodbanks, and hope that we have helped more families to enjoy a better meal this Christmas.
