Making Tax Digital

Tax reqiurments for the digital age

The government is due to implement its Making Tax Digital (MTD) initiative over the coming years, with the aim of creating a ‘transparent and accessible tax system fit for the digital age’.

VAT is the first tax to be reportable under MTD and businesses within the scope of MTD will need to keep their records digitally, using approved MTD functional compatible software, from 1 April 2019.

Moving your processes over to a compatible digital system ahead of time will help to ensure that you are ready when the legislation takes full effect, and may also help to improve your business’s efficiency and productivity in the long-term.

Delivering that little bit extra
